Just wondering if anyone here has an explanation for something that's confusing me...
If you tap my phone number into BT's residential product checker, it gives me the option for BT Infinity 2 (i.e. up to 76m down), but if you do it on BT's business product checker, the equivalent - BT Business Infinity Premium - is not available, only Unlimited is (i.e. up to 40m down).
So, does BT apply different standards for residential vs business product availability? Or are their systems just very very confused?
Note that the line speed I can actually physically get is about 55m down. My line was residential until about a month ago and my line sync rate was about 54-55m. When it got switched to business, they said they cannot offer Business Infinity Premium, and put me on unlimited. My line resynced and is now artificially capped at 40m. But I was indeed on option 2 (up to 76m) as a residential customer...
