BT Business Broadband Fiasco...

I've been having problems with my BT Business service pretty much since the day it was installed. Despite numerous calls to the technical support department I still not really any further forward. I was originally supplied with a Business Hub 3 though, out of sheer desperation (IMHO) I've been sent a Business Hub 2 and told to use that instead. The reason for this change is that the Hub 3 has a firmware problem which causes it to lock up completely within any 24 hour period leaving me without broadband and unable to recover the situation unless I cycle the Hubs power. I initially requested that the Hub 3 be replaced though this suggestion was rejected by BT - the guy told me that it would make no difference since the fault affects ALL Hub 3's!

I've been running with the Hub 2 for a week, initially everything seemed to be going well, managed to get connected up and got my 5 fixed IP's allocated OK then the trouble started. Out of the blue the bottom led (internet) turned REd and all connectivity was lost. This situation failed to recover so I had no option but to restart. This has now happened several times over the past three days. I placed a call with the help-line yesterday evening and was told that my line was OK though there's some kind of authentication problem which would need to be investigated by the wholesale department (whoever they are)

I was assured that a fault would be raised and that I could track the progress of the fault on-line. It's now almost 24 hours since I made the call and there's no sign of a fault been raised on my account.

One other thing I have noticed is that I now seems to have been 'demoted' from ADSL2+ to ADSL and lost another 1000-1500 Kbps.

Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on? I feel I'm being given the runaround by BT and that my rate is being capped down to a point where the crappy line might limp along without problem! As soon as I raise a fault it's cleared down almost as soon as I get off the phone to the helpline, in my opinion the actual problem has never been fixed.Screenshot 2014-02-10 21.57.00a.jpg
