Alternative setup to bridge mode when connecting BT Smart Hub with 4g Assure

Hi

I currently have a BT Smart Hub connected in bridge mode to my USG Pro 4 WAN1 socket.  The USG authenticates with adsl connection with PPPe0.

We get a BT 4G Assure with the smart hub which is under the packaging a Huewai usb dongle which kicks in automatically if this broadband fails (it also reports back to BT that there is a fault on the line).  The problem is that this will not work if the BT Smart Hub is in bridge mode.

I have spoken to the BT who say no way they know of to get around this.  The 4G assure stick is attached to the BT Smart Hub, I have been told that it cannot be used with a different device.  When I connect it directly to my computer the Haewei control panel sees EE login details (EE mobile provider is now owned by BT)

Is there any way I can take the BT router out of bridge mode and setup the USG to get the internet from this connection, maybe using static route or a vlan?
