Which hub do you have?  Which service do you have?  Can you connect your hub/router to the Master Socket so that all other devices are disconnected?  I don't work for BT but have sorted all my problems...

As Kelper mentions have you tried with ethernet cable directly. This will help you understand if its a Wi-Fi problem or an overall speed problem.
