Re: Business Infinity not working as I think it should?
Hi there, There may be an issue with that Hub. I know it's straight out of the box but both those services should work fine. Try a factory reset using the hole at the back of the router. If it still...

Hi there, I doubt there is any way to speed this up. The order has to filter through several systems and if one goes wrong or triggers too soon then it can mess up the whole order. There's a team that...
View ArticleRe: Intermitent disconnections on BT Infinity
Hi there, Best thing you can do is call the helpdesk and have them diagnose the line. The Fibre line test is fairly thorough and if a fault is found generally goes straight to engineer. 0800 800 154...

Hi there, BT Broadband can only place orders if the checker says the package is available, they have no path to change this or push a cabinet upgrade, or even query it. Openreach make this information...

I have a Mk3 faceplate with inbuilt filter - Do these still come with a test port you know?
View ArticleRe: Fibre speed cut by 40% but neighbours speed is OK
Yes, it should come off in 2 parts. Both plug into each other and into the main housing's test port.

db's seem the same but the max rate is back up to 65mb which is close to what I used to get. Wonder what this means.

Were there any wires connected to the removable plate?
View ArticleRe: Fibre speed cut by 40% but neighbours speed is OK
Just one. I should clarify just incase was misunderstood, whilst it says max rate 65mb, The actual speed is still stuck at 48
View ArticleRe: Fibre speed cut by 40% but neighbours speed is OK
Either way it sounds like a problem with the built in filter. You can put the plate back together without the middle part and just use a loose filter. See how that goes. Re..speed still 48 It might...

You think so? Wouldn't I see the current rate increase if the filter was an issue
View ArticleRe: Fibre speed cut by 40% but neighbours speed is OK
If the sync speed is 65 then you should be getting 65mb but if there's been errors detected on the line then the Dynamic Link Manager at the exchange will need time to compensate, leave it overnight,...
